Review: Wonder Woman #11

“The Lies: Conclusion,” by Greg
Rucka and artist Liam Sharp, is a very sad comic for Diana. She's
with Steven at her “home”, with her mother. She's happy that
she's with her mother and that she's not really dead, like she had
believed. However, what makes this sad, is that she finds out that
she was never home and that this was all a lie. She seemed very happy
to be home, to be with her mother and her family again. Now, that's
all gone and will most likely be gone forever. She's lucky to have
Steven there with her, to help her see that something was wrong and
that it didn't seem right. If she stayed in that place any longer,
who knows what it would have done with her mind and her body.
I am curious to see what the next issue
is going to bring, if Diana is going to find out how she was trapped
in that lie. I hope she's not trapped in another fake reality before
she finds out that answer. One thing is for sure though, Wonder Woman
is a very strong character and she won't let this bring her down
until she finds the answers that she's looking for.
The Verdict: Even though this is a
sad comic, unless you don't like Wonder Woman (which I'm not sure why
you would be reading this comic if that were the case), it is a comic
that I would recommend. I have a feeling the net issue is going to
give Diana some answers and I have a feeling when she gets those
answers there's going to be some action.
