Welcome back Star Wars Rebel’s fans to another exciting episode, “An Inside Man,” I’m going to jump right into the episode so SPOILER ALERT. This episode takes us back to the planet Lothal the home planet of Ezra. We are brought back because the Empire has built a new weapons factory and is forcing the locals to work at the factory.
The rebels are also given some new information from fulcrum about a new weapon being built at the factory. So, Ezra, Kanan, and Chopper meet up with a factory worker and family friend Morad Sumar. Sumar has been sabotaging equipment at the factory and can help our rebels infiltrate the factory.
Unfortunately, when Ezra and Kanan get to the factory, Grand
Admiral Thrawn arrives to inspect the factory due to all the malfunctioning equipment.
The episode shows how cruel Thrawn can be when he makes an example out of
Sumar. He makes Sumar ride a speeder
bike that he knows is sabotaged, and the bike explodes killing Sumar.
Ezra and Kanan create a distraction and escape to a part of
the factory where the new weapon is being built. Chopper downloads the
information about the new weapon, and now they are trying to figure out how to
escape from the factory. So, they bump into Agent Kallus and begin to fight
him, but he yells out I’m fulcrum. I totally called that one in the episode
where he helps Sabine escape. So, trusting Kallus our rebels escape with the
weapon plans for new ships with shields.
The episode reveals who the new fulcrum is and a new
dangerous weapon. It also tells us that Thrawn knows someone is leaking
information and he plans to use this person to benefit the Empire against the
rebels. Not sure if he knows Agent Kallus is the mole but it did sound like he
suspects it. So only time will tell rebels fans so let’s continue to watch Star Wars Rebels on Saturdays at 8:30 pm
on Disney XD.
