“Lois
Lane: Back at the Planet: Part Two,” by Dan Jurgens and artist
Stephen Segovia, starts out with Clark and Jon. I always enjoy seeing
Clark with his son and being a dad, especially when he's telling him
how great Lois is. It makes them seem, well normal. Jon is concerned
about his mom going back to work and things being different, which is
something a normal child would worry about. Just because Jon and
Clark have super powers (and that Clark is an alien from Krypton)
doesn't mean that they don't have “normal people problems.”
It's going to be
interesting to see Lois live other Lois's life. Even though their
lives are one in the same, they are different. I am curious to see
too if anyone is going to figure out that Lois isn't....well Lois.
I'm sure, eventually, someone will and I have a feeling it's going to
be Clark. I'm also curious to see if their lives are ever going to be
back to normal, if Superman is going to return or if Lois is going to
come back for the dead. I have a feeling that it won't, but I have
read enough comics to know that anything is possible in the comic
universe.
The Verdict: This is a great comic
that lets the reader know what happened in the past and what is
happening in the future for these characters. I look forward to
seeing what is next for Lois, Clark, and Jon. Things are not going to
be easy for them, but they've gone through things that are more
complicated than this.
