-TLC is LIVE from Dallas, Texas.

-Mauro Ranallo, David Otunga, Tom Philips and JBL are your host for this evening.
-WWE Smackdown Tag Team Title Match: Heath Slater and Rhyno(c) vs. Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton: In a shocking turn of events, Randy Orton turned on Kane to join Bray Wyatt. Since then, it seems that Orton has been under Wyatt’s spell and the new tandem has been wreaking havoc ever since(notably winning the Survivor Series Elimination match for Smackdown). Orton and Wyatt would then go on defeat American Alpha for the #1 contendership for the Smackdown Tag Titles and here we are.Surprisingly quick match, as the family defeats the champs in the early goings of the contest.  The Family works on Slater early, but the champs would regain control with Rhyno getting the hot tag.Rhyno would then make his way outside and goes to Spear Orton, but Luke Harper takes the bullet for his stablemate. Orton then immediately hits an RKO on Rhyno for the win and the titles. After the match Orton and Wyatt put the belts on Harper and all three pose. Freebird style defenses for the family?

-WWE Network promo. It’s 9.99, in case you forgot.

-Interview time with Dean Ambrose and is asked about James Ellsworth and his game plan for tonight. Ambrose makes a chin joke and he looks forward to the hard work and carnage he has to go through tonight. He even throws in a Dusty Rhodes “Hard Times” line in his honor.

- Interview time with AJ Styles in response to Ambrose comments. He says Ambrose we’ll be on the ground looking at him taking the WWE title.

Random Thought: TLC is sponsored by Kay Jewelers tonight(yes, the place that sells...jewelry). Well, wrestling fans DO get married, but a weird advertisement.

-No Disqualification Match: Nikki Bella vs. Carmella: This match is the culmination of a three month long with the story of the young upstart Carmella trying to take the spot of the proven veteran Nikki Bella. The line was crossed this past Tuesday on SMackdown when Carmella talked about Nikki’s love life and return got a black eye. Another short match on the card and a basic No DQ match to add. Both ladies came to war, as Nikki sported an MMA look and Carmella had Army camo pants. Carmella would get control early in the match with Kendo Stick shots and even trying to end it early with her Code of Silence submission, but when Nikki countered out and got ahold of the Kendo Stick, it was all downhill from there. Nikki would get such offense as a Disaster Kick off the barricade, assistance from a fire extinguisher and The Rack Attack 2.0 (TKO) finisher for the win. After the match, Carmella gets on the mic and says she wasn’t the one who attacked Nikki Bella at Survivor Series. It was Natalya!
-WWE Super Card Promo.

-Kay Jewelers video with alleged Bella attacker Natalya helping WWE Universe member Anthony pick out a ring for his special lady.

-Ziggler vs. Miz Hype video.

-Interview time with Daniel Bryan.  Bryan says Ziggler would be a better representative for Intercontinental champ than Miz. Miz comes in and says he’d rather have Bryan in the ring falling off a ladder than Ziggler and tonight he’ll retain the IC title.

-WWE Intercontinental Title Ladder Match: The Miz(c) vs. Dolph Ziggler: On the last Smackdown before Survivor Series, the Miz defeated Dolph Ziggler to regain the Intercontinental Title. While Ziggler is entitled to a rematch, Daniel Bryan makes this match “The Final Chapter” between the two Cleveland natives. Another hard-fought match between the two cleveland natives, as this match was more on the technical side rather than crash-and-burn. Ziggler’s leg would be the focus of Miz’s offense during the match, but Ziggler would get to injure Miz’s leg as well by having Miz fall from hanging onto the title suspended above the ring. The finish would come when the competitors would set up double ladders in the ring and both stars are on top duking it out.The Miz would kick Ziggler in the proverbial grapefruits twice and thats enough to get Miz the win and retain the title. After the contest, Miz dedicates the match to Daniel Bryan and thanks him for the motivation. Miz calls Ziggler and the city of Dallas losers and then makes out with Maryse.

-The 14th Annual Tribute To The Troops promo video.

-Chairs Match: Kalisto vs. Baron Corbin: The story is that Corbin has basically been a bully to Kalisto with backstage attacks. Kalisto would get revenge by injuring Corbin and taking him out of the Survivor Series Elimination Match. In retaliation, Corbin would cost Kalisto the Cruiserweight Title at the Survivor Series show. To settle things, Daniel Bryan makes this match a chairs match. Damn good contest between the two, as this was Baron Corbin’s best matchup to date. Moments included Kalisto hitting a  seated senton on Corbin onto a stack of folded chairs and Corbin countering Kalisto’s dive to the outside with Deep Six slam onto the floor. Corbin would hit Kalisto with End of Days onto a pile of stacked chairs for the win.

-Interview time with Natalya. She gets confronted about Carmella’s accusations and calls them absurd. She then gives Becky Lynch props on her title reign.Strange since Becky Lynch was never brought up in the first place.

-Lynch vs. Bliss Hype video.

-Random Thought: Izzy( Bayley’s fan from NXT) is in attendance tonight. Since this a Smackdown show, Bayley couldn’t hook her up with ringside seats like usual. Izzy should get free tickets for life after her infamous “participation” in the Bayley/Sasha Banks IronMan Match.

-WWE Smackdown Women's Title Tables Match: Becky Lynch(c) vs. Alexa Bliss: On the Nov. 8th edition of Smackdown, Becky Lynch defeated Alexa Bliss in controversial fashion to retain her Smackdown Women’s Title. Bliss foot was on the rope during the winning pin and demanded that Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan right her wrong in giving her another shot at the title. Becky Lynch agreed in giving Bliss another shot at the title and during a contract signing for this match, Bliss would put Lynch through the table, thus creating the way for this match to become a tables match. Lots of  table teases and slow at times in this decent affair.Finish comes when the two brawl on the apron and Lynch goes for a punt kick on Bliss. Bliss counters into a powerbomb through the table for the win and title! New Champion! After the match, the interviewer goes to get Lynch’s word on her loss (which is rude and a annoyance, even Lynch calls her out on it) and Lynch says she let herself down. She walks off in disappointment.

-Part 2 of Anthony’s engagement endeavors. He gets the special lady named Eva in the ring before a WWE show and proposes. She says YES! Congrats to the happy couple!

-205 LIVE promo video.

-John Cena to host Saturday Night Live this saturday!

-Ambrose vs. Styles hype video.

-WWE World Heavyweight Title TLC Match: AJ Styles(c) vs. Dean Ambrose: At Backlash, AJ Styles defeated Dean Ambrose for the WWE Title. Since Ambrose feel he was robbed of the title, he promised to make Styles life miserable. In doing so, he helped internet sensation James Ellsworth defeat Styles three times. To settle the score between the two, Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon stepped in and made this match and here we are.The Match of The Night people, hands down. LOTS of crazy moments in this match. One in particular that makes me wonder how Styles is still alive included Styles going for a suplex through a stack of seated chairs only for Ambrose to counter into a suplex of his own that flips Styles onto the chairs.Absolutely insane sight to witness. Ambrose wouldn’t stop there as he would set a ladder up on the announce table and hit an elbow drop on Styles through another announce table. Styles wouldn’t let Ambrose have all the fun in the match as he would get to hit his Moonsault off the apron into modified DDT on the outside and his Springboard 450 to the outside on Ambrose through the table. Finish of the match came when James Ellsworth comes out to distract Styles long enough for Ambrose to take back advantage.Styles gets back up, both men fight on top of the ladder and  Ambrose knocks off Styles.Just when Ambrose is about to win the title, James Ellsworth pushes Ambrose off the ladder which sends him crashing through two tables on the outside. Styles regroups and retains the title.

-END Scene.

-PPV Thoughts:This show was a fine endeavor put on by WWE. It wasn’t as great as No Mercy, but not as bland as Backlash far as the blue brand. On this show you had two title changes and most of the stipulation matches delivering in each of their own special way. The two women’s matches were underwhelming (one was too short and the other two slow at times), but that didn’t stop the show from becoming a success. The questions coming now from this show is what is to make of Heath Slater and Rhyno and Becky Lynch? Will these former champions get rematches or will they have to jump through hurdles to get them in the land of opportunity? What becomes of Nikki Bella and her alleged attacker, Natalya? What will become of James Ellsworth? An alliance with Styles? All of these will be answered in the upcoming weeks.

Personal Enjoyment: The main event. Outstanding performance from both competitors.  They left it all on the line for our entertainment and that shouldn’t be taken for granted. AJ Styles continues his 2016 dominance in match quality and overall awesomeness.

-So what did you guys think about the show? Hit or miss? Thumbs up or thumbs down? Let me know in the comment section. Thanks for reading!
